A well-maintained lawn mower is easier to operate and will last longer.
Step 10: Remove and clean the air filter.
 Open the cover for the air filter. Remove the foam filter and rinse it in hot, soapy water. Squeeze out the filter and allow it to dry completely in the Sun.
