Granet stones and splintered hands

Giant granet slabs some flat and some thick, Good ol cement, and two shovels that dug a 4 foot deep by 6 or 7 wide with odd curves hole that is now a beautiful koi pond. My dad lined the inside of the pond wiyh cement while i placed granet slabs next to each other like i was putting together a puzzel. while my dad finished up there i decieded to create a wall of granet seperating the pond from a granet walkway i planded to lay next. I placed the flat stones upright next to each other and used cement to glue them together. on top of the granet i glued with cement large river stones about six inches apart. my dad said the wall looked like the great wall of china. inbetween the wall and pound i planted the ferns and a red leafed bush that was more beautiful then my wall. the bush looked even more vibrant against the granet slabes.while i was busy creating lil china my dad had already put up the waterfall. for filteration he used a huge plastic barrel that he sliced in half. he filled the half with lava rocks. and he hooked up some pipes and pump and the water flowed through the lava rocks and down the granet waterfall that made a relaxing splash.while my dad finished up there i went down to the ditch where bull frogs flurished. i grabed me three for our new pond. with the frogs and giant Koi and slabs of granet made a fun but hard project.
