Demolition time


Took of the front cover, started on the 3 main screws around

Mark the wires


The package came with stickers you can put on the wires, but in my case the stickers were so dry that they wouldnt stick, so I wrote down R-White and W-Green on a paper.

Taking apart new temperature sensor


Put in new batteries, the ones that came with it were just for demo.
Place it, mark it, drill holes, put in screws

Gas or Electric?


Have to set if your system is gas or electric, if gas then the on/off is delayed a bit so it won't go off/on too often
Turn power on

Made sure you have done all the right connections?
Then turn back on power.

Adjust temperature up higher than current temperature to test system, wolla... Done!

Its working, in my case I still have old holes I have to fix, but now I can at least save money! :-)

Do not throw in the trash!


Old Temperature sensors contain Mercury! do not throw it in the trash, contact your local government about howto dispose them, many cities have mercury return programs.
