I will start in spring do a tear off and haul away then go from there. I will replace the fascia and soffits along with any rotten roof boards. I've already started and have sistered a bad rafter (due to a knot).

My wife and I had the bright idea to tear down the plastic siding and put up red cedar shakes on our Mansard roof. We looked up and said “how hard could it be, just take down the white stuff and put up some wood”. Easy, right????? :-)
