My boyfriend and I found a free source for river rock and brought tons of it home a few years ago but hadn't decided what to do with until recently. We needed a sidewalk next to the driveway. He said " we have all these rocks, do whatever you think with them" So I designed a sidewalk with them. It has been a real learning experience with laying down the rocks and mixing the mortar and a lot of hard work but it is beginning to look the way I planned it. I'm about 2/3 of the way finished. I will post another photo on completion.
