| Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Al moved to NYC and began work in sales with IBM, Time Life and then the Museum of Natural History. Ever entrepreneurial, he opened 2 pub/restaurants in NY in the 1970s, however a vacation in Key West, led him to relocate to the Keys in the 1980s. In Florida, a developing life-time passion for real estate, was realized. Over a 16 year span Al went to work for Century 21, Coldwell Banker and then, Re/Max. All along, he was commended for his top listing and sales abilities and high ethical standards, serving two terms on the Realtors Board of Ethics. Then, a vacation to Maine in 1985 brought him to beautiful Lubec. Two days later he had bought his first house in the area. In the beginning 'downeast' was a summer place, but now it is full-time home! Purchasing Due East from the founding owner three years ago, Al opened the Lubec office in May of 2003 and Eastport in Dec. 2003. He is proud of Due East and his entire roster of agents and staff. |
