The earliest part of Linden was built in 1790. It was once the home of US Senator Thomas Reed. Several additions date to 1818, 1829 and 1850. It is one of the more important antebellum homes and has been a staple of the Natchez Pilgrimage for decades. The home is centered in a seven acre park and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The home also operates as a Bed and Breakfast.
