This Early American Pattern Glass colorless oil lamp is the Periwinkle Pattern made around the 1860s. Soon to celebrate its 144th birthday, it is in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks to the Font. The marble base has some very minor wear. It is right at 8" tall and the base is about 3 1/2" square and is all original. I bought this from a person I have been buying alot of pieces from in the last few months. All the items have been stored since the 1940s when his grandmother closed her antique shop in NJ and moved to Florida. It had never been unpacked or rewrapped until he brought it in in the original 1940s newspaper. Everything I have bought has been from the mid 1800s to early 1900s. Most of it mid to late 1800s. There is absolutely no doubt about this rare and wonderful piece. Click for Price @ GoAntiques.com
