This pair of books are from 1862, A treatise on stem engines and boilers, by Daniel Kinnear Clark M. Inst. C. E., M.I.M.E.;. He was a honorary member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. This book is illustrated by above 1300 figures in the text and a series of folding plates, drawn to scale. This book has been cherished by several owners, some of which are listed in the book. This is a 2 volume edition, with a great deal of knowledge in both books. The 2 books equal a total of 788 pages. The binding appears to be in good condition. T is wear to the top and bottom of the binding and also to the corners. This to be expected of a book this old. The bindings are printed in gold. I hope it will make a fine addition to your collection of early books Click for Price @ GoAntiques.com
