Nice, early Gettysburg Veteran Medal. The circumference of the one side says Dedication of State Monuments at Gettysburg July 1,2,3 1863 New York Day. The opposite side would dedicate it to be the 30 year anniversary dated 1863-1893. Attached to the Medal is a Red, White & Blue Ribbon. There is also a red piece of felt attached. This was on it when I received it and have left it this way. Medal is about 1 5/8" in diameter and about 1/8" thick. Overall excellent condition with exception to slight tattering to the top portion of the ribbon. Would make a fine addition to any Civil War collection. Buyer to pay shipping & insurance.
