8 3/4" long. Mono on front looks like PWA, but it may be GWC, GWA, or something else entirely. Hard to tell. The back is stamped G. Spence in a half circle, with a lion passant, capital D, and head looking right. This is the mark of Gaven Spence, of Newark, NJ, whose business operated from 1869 to 1918. There is a shell decoration on the back of the bowl where it meets the handle. Tarnish appears to be the only thing wrong with this spoon, which weighs 51.2 grams. Click for Price @ GoAntiques.com
