This wonderful Elephant Pie Bird (also known as a pie vent used in baking pies to prevent boil overs)is 3 1/2" high. It was made in England during the 1940's by the Nutbrown Pie Funnel Company. Marked, "Nutbrown Pie Funnel, Made in England, Reg. No.880220". Rare! Very cute!! His trunk is raised high for good luck!!! This is an original - NOT a reproduction!
