The H5RICAT is an Air-Tite ceiling housing designed for remodeling applications where the housing will be in direct contact with ceiling insulation. The Air-Tate housing prevents airflow between the attic and living areas. The built in integral thermal protector provides positive protection against overlapping. This housing also features an adjustable socket bracket to assure proper and consistent lamp positioning. The housing's 7 1/2 In. height allows for use in 2 In. x 8 In. joist construction and an integral flange secures the fixture against the ceiling. Four remodel clips secure the housing and accommodate ceiling thickness from 3/8 In. to 5/8 In.
