Here for you consideration is a pair of Anthropomorphic (humans behaving like animals) "bird" lithographs from about the 1840 - 1850 time frame. One is titled "The Buffoon" and the other is titled "Bird Nesting". Both are in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, tears etc and in nice wooden frames and behind glass as well. The color is excellent for their age with beautifully framed gold borders as well. I haven't been able to identify the series as there is no other writing except the title, therefore I am selling them at a pretty good price. Based on what I've seen doing web searches they might be worth twice as much if the series could be identified.
