BIG Cellulose Acetate Flower Brooch & Earrings: Japan
Noteworthy and then some! Probably c. 1950s-'60s, and a set that's not to be missed. Golden-yellow translucent leaves feature hot-orange coloration around a marble at each bud's center. While they look very much like glass, these centerpieces are evidently Lucite. Brooch and earrings are all imprinted "Japan" on their backs. The brooch measures 3 1/2" in either direction. Clip-on earrings are 1 1/2". Basically in very good vintage condition with no chips, but please be advised there is a modicum of speckling in these feather-light old plastic accessories upon close inspection, though this is not really noticeable when they are worn.
