Chalkware Carnival Prize Ashtray/ Cigarette Holder with Horse
Chalkware smoking stand with figural horse, given as a carnival prize in the 1930's-40's. Handmarked "Pat. Pend." on back edge. Has original glass ashtray. Has indents to hold a box of matches as well as a pack of cigarettes. Measures 5.5" x 8.25" x 8"h. Chalkware is rather fragile, and this piece has had some repairs as shown in the close-ups, as well as some small chips to the ears of the horse. Sold as is. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1990.
