This is an Antique oil lamp done in the EAPG fashion. (Early American Pressed Glass). I am not sure who made this piece. Nor am I sure of the pattern name. It is a "Ball and Swirl" type pattern c. 1894. It could have been made by Fostoria, McGee or Even Boston Sandwich - due to the elaborate decoration. It features a recessed top with no burner. The font has swirls which tilt toward the left with tiny beading on both top and botton of swirls. Then the neck goes into fans pointing up at top then down with round ball in center. The next layer in a deep thumbprint complete with beading around each print, It ends in a foot of fine shaped balls. The base is hollow up to the font. The condition is wonderful with wear around the top neck (where burner is places) and wear on the base. REally exceptional piece! Thank you for visiting! Click for Price @ GoAntiques.com
