Henry Disston 26 inch D-8 Crosscut Hand-Saw 8 TPI

This is a nice, clean 26" long blade, 8 point crosscut hand-saw marked, "HENRY DISSTON & SONS" etch, but is very light, and the blade "8" just below the handle on the steel "DISSTON * PHILA *" on the brass medallion on the handle. Nice clean applewood handle with some wear, solid, not cracked, not chipped, just a few minor scratches, dings, and some minor staining. The brass hardware appears to be shiney and in very good condition. The blade is very straight, with light staining, some pitting but none bad enough to cause use problems, no missing teeth, but one slightly chipped, should clean up on the next sharpening, about 95% sharpness. This saw was just sharpened, and cuts just fine. A very good quality saw from the early 1900's era. A nice, clean, old skew back saw in good, useable condition!
