Ancient Mayan nephrite carving featuring a standing warrior with elaborate headdress. The decorations are in bas relief with good visualization. The upper part of the carving is tapering off slightly and has 2 side perforations for its suspension as a pendant. The right upper corner was chipped and the fragment glued, otherways there are no other damages. Dimensions: 3.1" x 3.5" (8 cm. X 9 cm. ). Estimated value: $5000.
