Large Neolithic period ceremonial disk of helicoidal shape decorated with 3 cicada on the edge and alternating with 3 teeth-like elongations. It has a central perforation drilled from both sides in a conical shape typical for Neolithic carvings. Diameter: 8.2" (21 cm.). Provenance: Dr. Veleanu's collection, the renown author of collectors illustrated book: "Jade, 5000 BC to 1912 AD, Guide to collectors".
