Motorcycles are becoming more and more sophisticated with anumber of computer-controlled systems on board. These motorcycles haveelectronic diagnostic capabilities and need to be diagnosed and repairedprofessionally. The Motorscan 5650 Motorcycle Diagnostic Scan Tool coversvirtually all electronically diagnosable systems on motorcycles from most ofthe major manufacturers. This tool is capable of diagnosing faults on motorcyclesfrom virtually all manufacturers, including brands such as Harley-Davidsonż, Yamahaż, Hondaż, Kawasakiż, BMWż, Ducatiż and Suzukiż. All the cables necessary to connect to these bikes are included in the kit. Capabilities include: use the data from the motorcycle ECU to read (and erase) stored faults, and display "live" data (RPM, battery voltage, throttle angle, etc.); where manufacturers have systems on their motorcycles that allow those adjustments, the tool helps perform other functions, such as unlocking the immobilizer, making injection adjustments (CO trimmer), adjusting the throttle valve position sensor (TPS), configuring the immobilizer/alarm, resetting auto-adaptive parameters and making idling adjustments.
