These 2 stone pieces were perhaps used as a mortar and pestle. The hollowed out base measures 4.5 x 2.75 in. and is 1 in. tall. The Handled, curved piece is 4.5in. long and the base measures 1.25 in.wide. These were purchased at an estate sale in the Central Minnesota area near Mille Lacs Lake. That leads me to believe these items were used by the Ojibway /Chippewa Nation. Click for Price @ GoAntiques.com
