Old Japanese sword

Old Japanese sword with the hilt and scabbard covered with shark skin. One annular brass decoration with Paulownia crest and ring for hanger, is present on the scabbard. Tsuba has a bird resembling a swan with a ball above the beak. The blade has some age oxydation, but no corrosion. An inscription with 5 characters is present in a panel on one side of the blade. The other side of the blade, features a flag with a sun in the center and a large inscription below. The arsenal registration number 46127 is present below. Length: 38 inches. This sword is old and manufactured in China before world war 2 and originates from a Manchurian arsenal deaccessed for sale through Chinese dealers. Length: 38".
