Old Japanese sword with the hilt and scabbard covered with shark skin. One annular brass decoration with Paulownia crest and ring for hanger, is present on the scabbard. Tsuba has a bird resembling a swan with a ball above the beak. The blade has some age oxydation, but no corrosion. An inscription with 5 characters is present in a panel on one side of the blade. The other side of the blade, features a flag with a sun in the center and a large inscription below. The arsenal registration number 46127 is present below. Length: 38 inches.
