Presentation engraved 1860 Colt Army revolver pistol
NO PAPERWORK OR LISCENSE REQUIRED FOR ANTIQUE GUNS was $18,995.00 for this genuine antique engraved Colt revolver. This is a great Civil War engraved presentation 1860 Colt Army .44 cal. revolver with carved ivory grips. The pistol was presented to Major F. R. Whitney of the 41st Indiana volonteer Infantry on Dec14 1863; (nice Christmas present). The 41st Indiana was previously the 2nd Indiana Cavalry I believe (guess they ran out of horses). The 41st saw lots of action during the war including Mufreesboro and Chickamauga and lost a total of 7 officers and 249 enlisted men during that conflict. The gun is expertly and deeply engaved and has a grey overall patina. The cylinder is a replacement one and has a different serial number than the rest of the gun. Own this unique piece of Civil War history today. Thankyou for viewing and please see the other guns that I have up for sale. PAYMENT DUE WITHIN 7 DAYS
