Tin Advertising Sign
DUPONT "Generations" SELF FRAMED TIN ADVERTISING SIGN by Edmund Henry Osthaus, Artist. A large Dupont Gun Powder self framed tin hunting advertising sign. Average to good condtion. Some wear, i.e. scratches, flaking and some bending around the edges of the frame, but the overall image and colors are still quite beautiful. A classic piece of hunting advertising by one of the most famous turn-of-the-century sporting artists, Edmund Henry Osthaus. This hunting sign illustrates a grandfather and grandson in a field with two setters. Dimensions approximately 33" high x 23" wide. This is a super advertising item with the artist's signature on the upper left side of the tin.
