His wife Eva is also wearing her Civil War Badge of Honor. If you take a close look he is also wearing a gold watch fob that shows two Civil War Generals. The photograph measures 6 x 8 inches and the medal is all there with the flag being detached from the medal itself.Which is common given the weight difference.
