An important collection of 10 cdv & tintype photographs of one African-American Family of ex-slaves from Zanesville,Ohio and Tennessee. The collection highlights include a cdv photograph of a young boy holding a saber identified as the Mascot of the 127th Ohio Colored Troops. Another remarkable image shows a Black Elderly Lady likely in her 80's are older showing off her broken,mangled hands. Likely the result of years of slavery. There are additional images of Bearded Black Man on a horse,a beautiful Black Slave Girl tintype,New Orleans White Slave Children,Young lady from Nashville,Tennessee,The Family Cat and much more as shown.
