"French Coin Dot", Electric Table Lamp By Fenton Glass Co. "Coin Dot" Glass was produced by Fenton Glass Co., 1947 - 1964. It is Fenton's number one in collectibility. The basic mould for "Coin Dot" is a spot mould. It is by the construction of this mould that the "Coin Dot" pattern is formed into glass. If you feel inside of a "Coin Dot" piece you will find a hollow at each dot area. Look through the dot and you will see an optic effect, six dots on the far side of the glass, making a daisy pattern near each dot. It has been referred to as "Angel Eyes as when you look through the dot, it looks as if you are looking into the eyes of a thousand angels". Markings: None; Condition: Pristine.
