Today, my last day at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show in Chicago, continued to reveal more innovative products, design ideas and smart solutions. Here are just a couple of the beautiful discoveries that were spotted today.
Sub-Zero introduces its first French door refrigerator. Similar to the rest of the company’s built-in line, the 36” French door is available as a stainless model with tubular or pro handles or as an overlay model that can be flush inset with custom panels, like the show-stopping blue on display at the show.
Moen showcased a variety of new products—from the Arbor faucet with motion sense “on-off” to an innovative “Twist” hand-held shower that changes water features quickly and easily with the flick of the thumb. The company also continued to expand it’s “Home & Care” universal design collection that included this smart, wall-mounted teak shower seat.
Kohler is always a source of great design and innovation. The Vault—a 36″ top-mount, stainless steel Farm Sink—is one introduction that remodelers will love. The shortened apron allows installation in most standard cabinetry and laminate countertops. The Self-Trimming™ design requires only a simple rough cut, overlapping the cabinet face for beautiful results and easy installation.
Blum, a leading manufacturer of functional hardware and organizing solutions for kitchen cabinets, showcased their Space Corner drawers. The drawers make full use of corner space by offering an assortment of Orga-Line internal dividers to increase usability and make optimum use of every inch of the space.
