I owned a Hotpoint and GE dishwasher, and a GE toploader clothes washer. After daily use for several years, all three failed when their seals gave out. I’ll never buy GE again.

Yeah, now if GE could provide replacement parts on this EXACT set of mine that is a whole 3 yrs old, in a timely manner, that’d be great. BUT NO, it’s been FOUR WEEKS that I have been without my washer and the part is on back order with NO ETA. And its not as simple as just getting a new washer, because a new washer won’t “speak” to a dryer that is 3 years young. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL RIGHT NOW> It has cost me MORE in laundromat fees new laundry soap/softener as all of mine is sitting UNUSED in the smart dispense pedestal (I’m sure gumming up by now) than I paid for the 4 year extended warranty for both the washer and dryer.

I was gonna get some of these but as my husband is loosing his job.Now it will be put on hold till he finds another.
