Broil Element in oven - Kenmore 79096021400

I was trying to broil food in my oven. I noticed a flame, then I turned the oven off. When it cooled off, part of the broil element fell down in to the bottom of the oven. Should I replace the oven or just the broil element?

Usually it is worthwile to replace an element if the rest of the unit is in decent condition.
