Recycled Homes by Dan Phillips
By Inthralld on Oct 31, 2012

Going green is one thing, but creating beautiful art and a place to live out of completely recycled materials is on a whole other level. Dan Phillips is a Texan located in Huntsville, TX who has spent the past 12 years creating homes entirely out of ‘trash.’
These houses are compiled of collected and found items including things like cattle bones (yes, cattle bones!), corks, broken glass segments and so much more. His affordable homes have helped shift the thinking of many and even inspired companies on being more sustainable in their approach to warehouse design. See some more of Dan’s homemade designs in his speech video at the bottom of the post, where he talks about his process and more.
