Design Your Own Furniture with "Everything But the Manual" System

By Inthralld on May 29, 2013

When buying furniture, it’s always a matter of whether or not an item serves a purpose and will go with everything else that’s already in the home. With Studio David Graas‘ “Everything But the Manual” system, users can create their own furniture for whatever needs arise.

The “Everything But The Manual” starts off as a cube of 177 oak blocks– all identical. Each of these can be assembled in any which way with a simple bolt and wing-nut. With the multiple holes, any configuration can be constructed. David Graas offers up a video of idea starters to show how to build the cuckoo clock, vanity table and even a lamp.
