Charlie was interested in helping at first.
Then, I guess not. This was just before she got up, wagged her tail against the wall, then left blue smudges down the stairs.
It's difficult to take a picture against an open window (especially one with such a high contrast as navy walls), but here's what the first wall looked like as it started to dry:
It's going to take another coat to completely cover the old color, but I'm already sooo in love with the white trim and navy walls. More pics coming tomorrow!
