Maracana House by Terra E Tuma Architects
By Inthralld on Feb 20, 2013

Terra E Tuma Architects in Brazil have created an amazing bachelor-style residence in Sao Paulo called the Maracana House. The home is built of concrete blocks with large openings for the dark metal-framed glazing.
The interior of the Maracana House is very serene, considering that it's space mainly constructed of concrete. Natural elements are brought in through the vast open spaces, and the interior architectural details are comprised of open and airy urban details. Pops of color and rich woods bring warmth to the interior, and collections of grouped objects make it all feel like home. The exterior features an Alexandre Mancini original ceramic artwork suspended from the upper level, which prefaces the overall mood of the home once indoors.
