Lakeside Chicken Point Cabin Nestled in the Woods by Olson Kundig Architects

By Inthralld on Jun 13, 2012

Located in the woods of Northern Idaho is this beautiful Chicken Point cabin designed by the team at Olson Kundig Architects.

The home is constructed from a mixture of both durable and unfinished material that include concrete bock, steel, concrete floors, and plywood winning the dwelling several different design awards. Taking contemporary design elements, the home was built as a small box that opens with a big window to the surrounding nature. The massive 30 feet by 20 feet big window wall opens the entire living space to both the forest and lake that surround the property.
