Modern Industrial Nursery Makeover
By Blissfully Ever After on Nov 07, 2012
After a year of changes, updates, and style revamps…I think the nursery is finally finished. Wait, have I written that before? Well none the less here is our version of a Modern Industrial Nursery {almost big boy’s room}!
The room it wrapped in board and batten {done DIY of course} and all accessories {minus large furniture pieces} have been made DIY or found relatively inexpensive {$10 or less}. Our attempt was to create a space for our son that looks fun, bright, and stylish without a hefty price tag…because as he grows the room will change again. He will actually be moving to another room and this space will stay the nursery for baby #2 {and no I am not pregnant}. Haha!

I updated the gallery wall once again to lighten it up…it was looking a little dark and drab before. But just in case you missed that post you can see it here: Nursery Gallery Picture Wall.
We are still undecided if we will sell our house when we move or keep it as an investment property, so until we make up our minds the doors are staying as is. I dream of white paneled doors with white moldings. I know it would totally transform the house, but from a cost stand point, replacing all of the doors is not going to happen unless we make this a forever home or stay here long enough and then sell it.

I love these pillows! The best part about this room is when the three of us gather in here on the floor, lay on the pillows and read books. I made them just for this purpose and I am glad they are being used J
