DIY Makeover: Modern Industrial Nursery

By Blissfully Ever After on Nov 16, 2012

Thank you so much for your patience and sweet emails and comments about my son’s nursery. This has been the most fun space in our home to transform thus far and today I am going to provide the details for you…of his modern industrial nursery.

When we designed this space, I wanted to keep it simple but also wanted it to be stylish, bright, and fun. Everything in this room has a purpose…whether it be pillows for a reading area, a galvanized bucket for stuffed animal storage, a rocking chair to soothe my little man before bed time, or a few piece of inexpensive art that have meaning behind them and give warmth and style to the space. Everything has its place in his room. We do not have overwhelming amounts of clothes, toys, or extras…it is simple yet comfortable. In the coming weeks I will be sharing how to create a home and life of purpose and I wanted to start with this space.

I hope you enjoy this little tour and please feel free to contact me with questions. Enjoy!
