Mid-Century Modern House Numbers

Buying nice-looking house numbers may seem frivolous, but this minor investment sets the tone for your entire house. You, and everyone else, will see them daily, and the right numbers can really step up the style quotient of your home.
Some of my favorite numbers are these, based on an original design from the 1930s by legendary architect Richard Neutra for the homes he built. Design Within Reach has worked with his son, Dion Neutra, to replicate the original design in exacting detail. The advantage of these is their authenticity, but they're only available in one size and two finishes. Offering more options is Modern Dwell House Numbers, calling their version "Modern" font, they offer two standard finishes and a rainbow of custom colors, as well as six size options, from 4" to 24" high. Custom House Numbers has the most options, with multiple variations of their "Neutraface" font (light, bold, condensed, etc.), lots of finish options, and sizes ranging from 2" to 10" high. You're bound to find something that suits your needs and makes your house the coolest on the block.
