Waterfall Bay House by Pete Bossley Architects
By Inthralld on Nov 18, 2012
Pete Bossley Architects created a natural home at the sacred location of Waterfall Bay in New Zealand. This intimate tidal bay provides a gorgeous setting for a timber based home, guest house and boat shed that this family resides in.
One of the goals around this house was to maintain the existing natural elements such as trees and deciduous plants. Zig zags and glazed elements played a large role in this built property, with two wings to separate public and private areas throughout the two levels. Cozy wood lined nooks and various types of wood furniture keep this place feeling rustic and inviting.
