Painting Patio Furniture
By Homeroad on Jun 11, 2012
Mom's redwood patio furniture has seen better days...
Moldy, faded, and all dried out, it needed a paint job!
First we sanded to remove the mold, then
gave it a coat of Kilz oil based primer...
Next came a coat of white semi gloss paint...
There's Mom working away while I snap pictures...
With so many surfaces to paint we were sure
it was going to be a summer long project!
We were happily surprised to find out the semi gloss coat went on quickly and smoothly over the primer...
we were finished in no time.
Now Mom and Dad have a lovely new patio set to enjoy!
I'm thinking new nautical blue cushions with maybe a
striped or anchor pillow on these Mom...
Now if only I had a magic wand I'd have the picnic table
at my house magically painted white too...
That is next on my "to do" list....
