Saturday Stimuli: Tangerine

By The Ugly Duckling House on Jan 14, 2012
So the Pantone Color of 2012 has been announced as Tangerine Tango.  It's certainly making the rounds in blogland and on Pinterest.  What do you think of it?  Are you an orangey-red decor fan, or would you rather leave it in your nail polish?  (I, for one, love having this hue on my toes in the summer)  On the fence?  Maybe these photos will help you decide (and there are a lot of 'em!).  I'm definitely liking the mix of this bold hue with a more subdued gray (there I go with gray again).

What say you?  Are you planning on using this color in your decor this year?  Are we talking a splash (like those bookshelves or kitchen stools), or the full enchilada (like those color-drenched bedroom walls)?  I for one think I'll see a piece of art or two around the Ugg-Duck with this fun and vibrant shade (and in case you can't tell from the artwork I pick, I may go with gray on walls, but I love  color in my art).

Also, if you would like an invite to Pinterest, just email me and I'll send one out.
