Glenbrook Residence by David Jameson

By Inthralld on Oct 11, 2012

Vaulted ceilings, centralized kitchen and public spaces in a “courtyard” feel, various wings to keep bedrooms and their pertaining areas together, and a plethora of luxury materials. These are all just a portion of what’s inside of the amazing Glenbrook Residence, located in Bethesda, Maryland.

David Jameson Architect is the mastermind behind this angular yet calming home, with a great emphasis placed on staying within the constraints of the existing nature surrounding the home. These elements nestle perfectly around, while the centerpiece and crowned jewel (so-to-speak) of the home is the central glazed living pavilion that glows in the evening and opens up the whole house to the exterior.
