We recently had natural stone floor tiles installed in our bathroom and kitchen (and sealed). The problem is that when the person installed the silicone (dark grey) around the edges, he smeared it out too far. So, now we have dark grey coloring all around the edges of the floor. Does someone know the best way to removed the silicone without damaging the tile (quite porous). I am afraid to use a brush that is too hard, which will scrape the stone.
Thank you.

I once having the same problem for my mansfield tiles. Then I had to reinstall them. But I was lucky enough that it's for a very small space.
Light and easy scrubbing and scraping is the typical route. Some people have had good results from acetone (nail polish remover).
I would suggest you to make a call to that person who had installed the tiles. He can tell you the best possible solution regarding your problem but if you are unable to contact him you can contact to any cleaning company in your area.
Ill tell you what the best cleaning solution I have found to be:
Goof-off
The downside?
This can actually remove your sealer as well. It will take that caulking right off though, and afterwards you can clean it and reapply and re-seal as necessary. I have also has success in the past just trimming caulking in bathrooms but I would always rather re-do than patch silicone.
