Called a plumber for a leaky water pipe in basement. He found a hole he said, like someone must of drilled into it. Well it wasn't me ..maybe a previous owner. Anyhow he said he can either replace the pipe or epoxy it. He said lets do the epoxy first and if for whatever reason i still have a problem than he would replace the pipe. About a year or so ago he epoxyed my toilet cast iron drain and it is still holding up. Can someone tell me what is this epoxy thing? I've heard of it...but its seems to do the job and maybe i can do it on my old home if and when it happens again. Is this that mighty putty that was a craze awhile back by that guy from Aussie land, who passed away?
