I have a basement sump pump that routes the water up to a flexible pipe buried in the lawn. It slopes away from the house.
The pipe ends about 2 feet from the sidewalk.
The water spews out onto the side walk. I dug up the 2 feet and put crushed stone about 5 inches deep but the water keeps going out to the side walk. Did i not go deep enough or should i put sand in there. Or is it a matter of the ground not being able to drain it?
