the pipe coming out of my boiler was leaking last year. gotta fix it before i fire up heat this year. i cannot get it loosened. i have used a liquid wrench type product and i suppose i will try heating fittings. any suggestions

Yes normally I take the sawzall and cut the pipe off leaving about 3/4 inch from the joint. Then cut perpendicular across as close to the threads without cutting into them. Squeeze with channel locks it's out.

Happy New Year Sylvan! Sorry haven't been myself lately. I had to have my dog put down on the 13th of Dec. Getting back in the groove though. Hope all is well.
