It seems I have inordinate amount of ants - all sizes and colors on the deck and the patio surrounding the pool. The commercial ant sprays seem to eliminate them for a couple of weeks, but then they are all back... any suggestions on how to get rid of ants??

If the ant's nest is easy to access and there's no fire hazard around...I've used a propane torch to kill them. I'll heat the ground for a few minutes to get the heat as deep into the ground as possible.
I've also used ant food poison...takes longer but takes care of the whole tribe.
Boric acid powder also works.
