The freezer in my kitchen fridge is making a loud noise. It sounds like a mix of buzzing and knocking and seems to be coming from the fan in the back of the freezer. The noise is sporadic, not constant, and starts and stops on its own. This started pretty recently (about 2 weeks ago). What could be causing this? What can I do about it - is there something I can try myself before calling a repairman?
