Hi,
I live in Sydney but I travel constantly to the Australia, however one difference I've noticed is that I've never found a home with swimming pool in Sydney, while in Sydney the homes in any upper middle class or upper class neighborhood have swimming pools.
Why aren't swimming pools common in Sydney as well?

This site is mainly used by people here is the U.S. I doubt a lot of people on this particular site will know the answer to that. On a side note, you if you were to purchase a house there, you could always build one...

If we do have swimming pools, they tend to be indoor ones. And indoor pools are more common amongst rich people here in the UK.

Maybe they just don't prefer them.
